Founder Ant Donabavand has a history working for punk fashion labels. That aesthetic is important to him, and one we wanted to retain, whilst still appealing to a wider audience.
We wanted the rebrand to reflect the three Rs of sustainability – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
To reduce energy we chose instead of assigning a team on the project, we would ask our creative community if they had old parts of logos lying around that were never used, that we could repurpose into our new logo.
Sustain have partnered with tree planting and carbon reduction initiative, Ecologi – so we thought it was only right that their business card is printed using plantable seed paper.
To help Sustain easily manage their logos, we created a bespoke typeface and an online logo parts database with downloadable assets.
